Just a quick update. I sent in my letter on December 29, but still haven’t heard back from the FDA. So, I called the guy directly who processes the letters and puts the information in the letters in the FDA’s database, who’s the same guy in charge of the full-time help desk. He told me he hasn’t received the letter yet, and asked me to email him the letter so he can confirm it’s not on his desk. I did, and then he said it’s definitely not there yet, but he’ll let me know when it is. To be clear, he is the only person who will need to do anything with my letter once it gets past the FDA’s mailroom.
That really sucks, best of luck. I wonder if you could fly to his office and hand him a physical piece of paper just to move past this bottleneck?
